ISEG - IDEFE

Since 1991, a cooperation protocol has been in place between APAF and ISEG-IDEFE regarding the Post-Graduation Course in Financial Analysis. In 2016 we celebrated 25 years of this Post-Graduation in Financial Analysis.

Within the scope of this partnership, APAF participates in other events organized by ISEG-IDEFE, such as the Ceremony for the Delivery of Graduate Diplomas.

The creation of the Post-Graduation Course in Financial Analysis is due to a joint initiative of the Higher Institute of Economics and Management (ISEG), the Portuguese Association of Financial Analysts (APAF) and the so-called Portuguese Institute of Financial Executives (IPEF).

The key objective sought to achieved with the creation of this course was to offer a training program in the financial area capable of meeting the growing demand for quality and specific knowledge that companies and the market require from their financial specialists.

These growing needs emerged from the modernization of the Portuguese financial system and its greater integration with the most advanced financial systems in other countries.

The course program and the fact that, through APAF, students who successfully complete the course are guaranteed the European Diploma of Financial Analyst (CEFA), are a guarantee of the excellence of the teaching provided in the program, which has been confirmed by the high-level annual number of applications for the course since its inception in 1991.
